I seem to recall a push for biodegradable hulls a while back. Anybody else? Anything to it?

I can't believe I said hulls when I meant WADS! Is there been an interest in biodegradable wads?

I saw a UK youtube pigeon shooting video that demonstrated a plaslic wad that "dissolved" or broke down when it go wet. Believe the shell had non toxic shot as well, possibly copper.

I remember they once made some golf tees out of compressed fertilizer, or something like that, so you’d be doing some good with all the broken golf tees laying around the tee box.

You go to the grocery store and buy a steak (sitting on a plastic tray and wrapped in plastic), 5 lbs. of potatoes (in a plastic bag), a pound of carrots (in a plastic bag), a loaf of bread (in a plastic bag), a gallon of milk (in a plastic jug), and a pie (in a plastic box), but you can't put it all in a plastic grocery bag because they're bad for the environment.

I remember when we made the switch from paper grocery bags to plastic ones. The reason given was that the plastic ones took up less space in landfills.

What the...?

I remember here they got out of paper because the leftist environmentalists wanted to save the trees.
It just goes to show that if you give in on anything to those people they just move onto something else.

As to wads, I would like a natural fibre wad of some description, especially if it would work with steel shot.
I'm sure they could make some kind of compressed wax paper shot cup that would work with steel shot.

The list of our ENEMY'S is endless. Once there were a couple groups causing the issues but no more. Liberal, enviro's, greenies, OCA's, democrats and on and on........ None require a sound reason to stop something, only need a "cause" to get media attention and dollars to litigate.
Impossible to fight stupidity with fact, our enemy's are not smart enough to understand nor open enough to accept fact's. Just create a cause and go for it...... Larry

The most dangerous thing in the universe is a bureaucrat that thinks he has a duty to protect the public. His duty is to REPRESENT the public, not to rule the people.
