20 ga 3/4 oz loads International clays and Win Super Handicap and tube sets

I bought 20 ga tubes earlier this summer.

Hodgdon's website has 20 ga Rem hulls and 3/4 oz lead with

13.9 gn International Clays @ 1,200 fps @ 10,600 psi
or
13.8 gn Super Handicap @ 1,200 fps @ 9,900 psi

Are those loads ok to use in Briley 20 ga tubes or is there an increased chance of cracking? Something akin to Green dot issues?

I have both the powders on hand from long time ago when I was using them in 20 ga semi-auto and 20 ga o/u.

The issue with cracking was/is the rapid spike in pressure and letdown with Green Dot . I stick with 20/28, Unique and Universal. I've shot the AA 1300fps factory out of my Briley tubes. No problems.

I think (emphasis on think) there is a problem with 7/8's oz. loads and international clays. I know it was a popular load a while back, but I seem to recall issues with tube cracking. The 3/4 oz load was supposed to be ok.

If Green Dot is a problem with those tubes I would think Intl Clays would be also. Just a guess mind you but load weights and pressures are about the same as is the powder's burn rate for both. Is GD a problem with 3/4 oz. or just the 7/8??

I have used 14grs of green dot with 3/4oz shot in my Briley tubes for years with no problems but for 7/8 loads i have always used 15.5grs of Unique.

thanks for all the replies so far! If I read old posts correctly think it was green dot in 7/8 oz loads that had those issues.

too busy today, and prolly tomorrow but I'll call briley soon to see what they say about those powders in 3/4 oz loads and tubes
