Load For Fiocchi 2 1/2" 410 Hull

Does anyone have a load useing :
Fiocchi 2 1/2" 410 hull
Fiocchi Primer
Alliant 410 powder
Claybuster #CB 5050-410HS wad
1/2 oz shot - 1200 - 1300 fps .

Was given appox 1000 of these hulls . Would like to use them for skeet loads , load once and toss .

Unless someone had a load tested you won't find any recipes for that combination. Alliant does not test European hulls, and the only non-USA primers I've seen Alliant loads for is the Cheddite primer.

If you're not in a hurry, you could load I think 6 using the Alliant recipe for Federal hulls and Federal primers. Send them out for testing. A couple of testing labs have been listed on this forum. -Ed

I would suggest the Winchester HS hull recipe, substituting the Fiocchi hull and Fiocchi primer. Load six and send them to Precision Reloading for testing.

In my BPI small bore data manual.

Fiocchi 2.5 hull
Fiocchi 616 primer
410 powder loads with
12 g fps 1200
13 g fps 1210
13.2 g fps 1235
[Wad stump BPI wad only] (No Clay wad data)
