I just joined the Forum and saw this section for left handed shooters. One of my guys at work asked for a left handed dial calipers. I didn't say a word. I have been using calipers for 30 years and never heard of such a thing. Turns out there are several left digital cals but no dials. Has anybody heard of these?

It’s on the shelf, next to the left handed screwdrivers.

I sell gages for a living. Everything from calipers to Zeiss CMM’s, and I have never seen a LH caliper. I’m not saying they don’t exist. What brand did you find offering LH digital calipers?

I'm left handed and have never felt the need for a left handed caliper. I just use my right hand? Not sure why that's complicated.

My poor brother is so left-handed that if you tied it behind his back, he'd starve. :)

That's a bit unusual for a lefty. At least in my experience. We get so good at using our right hand for things (because we have to) that we adapt pretty quickly to right handed stuff.

My father was a natural left-hander but could throw a baseball equally well with either hand.

Just like scissors, I've taught myself to use right-handed calipers and mikes :)

Just about everything we come in contact with is made for right handers. So, we lefties have to learn to use our right hands more than righties have to learn to use their left hands.
