Anthony, I'fe been on the phone with my buddy Tal Goldsby (who you know from way back in your youth) and we have this long going argument over 1 oz vs. 1.1/8. For what ever reason I seem to like the 1 Oz 1290 and Tal thinks I'm nuts for not using the biggest load I'm allowed. Since we both know you I and I think I heard you shoot 1 oz loads told him I would drag you into this argument. So I guess the question is... not including Fitasc, why would a shooter choose a 1 once load over a 1.1/8 load?

Less recoil to finish the shot with eyes on the clay better

Makes sence. I have noticed in your latest vids how steady the shotcam is after you shoot. You can barely tell the gun went off. I'm guessing that's not just because of the 1 ounce loads but I'm sure it helps.

Many thanks!

(And I typoed Tal's last name. It's Goldsby)

They have less recoil at same velocity and when I miss I know it’s not the the shell .
But I Like 1 1/8 ?

I like 11/8 also used them for 20 years - if I shot a semi auto I’d start using them again tomorrow
