Hello all,

Here I go again... stopped at the LGS to pick up a box of 6.5 Creedmore for my buddy's rifle... and... found a 12 Gauge Bobwhite.

I love my DeHaan SO (16 gauge) ... AND....
there was a new 12 gauge Bobwhite G2 (28")... so.... it's coming home with me...

Don't need a 12 gauge... just want one. With lot's more options for ammo...I might be looking for some 3/4 oz loads to run through this one.

Double Triggers, Straight grip... A proper sxs. TwoFewDaysAfield would be proud.

It's a MUM gun.

Kris would have been salivating over that gun, and a Mum to boot.

I have a lot of 12 Ga 3/4 loads if you need some info.

Thanks CDB!

If you'd be able to post some of your favorite 3/4 loads, please let me know. I've got a few thousand AA loads from my youth...
As for powder... Clays, Intl Clays, RedDot... are on the shelf at the moment.

Kris would ask why a 12 gauge when I already had a 16. :) The 16 is great for a 1 - 1 oz load, but finding hulls for reloading is a challenge. ALTHOUGH, the new Federal hulls that are being carried at Walmart show promise.

Thanks,
Mark

This is my favorite load for 12 Ga 3/4 ounce. A real cream puff in the recoil department. Works real well at the SC course, the only exception are the 35-45 yard shots, no margin for error.

WWHS or Remington Gun Club hull

Red Dot 18 Gr, WW209 primer, CB0178 wad, or WWAA12L 3/4 ounce shot. You can sub Promo powder for Red Dot by wt.

I’ve got all of that stuff !!

Picked up the gun today, I’ll have to resolve the 7 and 9 lb triggers, no surprise there.

Dropped it off at my "trigger guy" today, so they'll be set at 5 and 5.5 within the week.
That's as low as he'll go. He also did my 20 gauge CZ triggers, so it'll all be fixed within the week.

Good to hear. Yep, mine are a little too light - but, they are what they are and I got used to them.

Congrats on the new toy.
