Adam, I haven't been up this year. Last year my dad sold the small house that my great grandfather built so when I go up now it is just for the day. We have sixty acres of peanut fields that I walk looking for arrowheads.

Adam, when I was in my teens, which was thirty years ago, I walked the edges and shot a few dove and the occasional quail or rabbit. There never has been enough birds to have a shoot.

They have a web site or anything? May want to drop by there, if and when I come see my grandson, just outside Montgomery.

Right now, he doesn't have the time or money, (tornado), to go on his own, but if I make it there, we will be going!

Never mind, I found it!

I dont check this post often so sorry for the delay, but JugChoke our address is http://www.LWSSC.com. If the cost is a factor a few things are available. First there is no membership for minors so dont worry about that. The second thing is we offer a youth clinic about every six weeks. It offers safety instruction, shooting instruction, shells, targets, ear protection, and safety glasses all for FREE. The complete details are available at our site.

I am working on trying to get some sponsors to help get more minors shooting. If I can get some sponsors we plan on offering more advanced classes and a SCTP program.

If your in the area it's a fun course to shoot. I've shot it a couple of times and wouldn't hesitate to go again.

ADR,

What would you like to know about Red Bay? I've worked over there, hunted nearby, and been through a couple of times.

One of the best gun fitters around lives just up the road in the big city of Maud.

They had a waterpark in town for a while but it was closed the last time I was over there.

I'm living in Huntsville.
I design and build homes all over this area, as far north as Nashville, east to Weiss Lake, west to Smith Lake and south to BHam.
Do any of you Alabama folks get together and shoot?
I'm a moderator over a forum of another hobby I have (Racing Rc Truggys, Truggyracers.com) and all our local guys get together and race a few times a year. I think busting some clay would be allot a blast.
