I've just gotten into clays purely for the fun of shooting, not to compete. In my search for a place to shoot, my internet searching took me here...

http://www.etowahvalleysportingclays.com/

I spent the afternoon with Patrick taking me thru my first time at 5-stand. It was a ton of fun and will be going back as time allows.

It's a nice place up in the North Ga Mtns. A great setting for clays.

Me and my wife are going to become members there and they told me they are working on putting in a skeet and trap field which I really hope gets pushed through and ok'd by the county because I really want to get into skeet shooting and doing competitions with my wife. All the other places near by to shoot you have to be a member and the prices are hard to pay for some people this day and age. EVSC is a really nice place that anyone can go and shoot and enjoy themselves

Anyone know if you are able to run the skeet courses solo? It's rare that I have anyone to shoot with.

You can, but that's no fun. I'd go with you, PM me if interested.
