Not sure which clubs host events, but here is a good resource for finding clubs in the Carolinas. Some of the clubs have their own websites for info:

Check charlotte rifle and pistol club CRPC
They have skeets and trap, beena while since I've been there

Rocky Creek is about 45 min. south in Richburg South Carolina.

Location: Charlotte, NC
The closest Sporting Clays courses to Charlotte is about an hour away.
One in Tryon, NC and the other one is in Richburg, SC.

Hyatt's is great. There's also Hunting Creek in Harmony, NC and Rocky Creek in SC.
