I will disable my adblocker when the issue is resolved. It has helped quite a bit, although I still get longish delays and page unavailable messages at times. No redirects however.

Why not just rebuild the ad database one ad at a time until you figure out which is the problematic one. Like diagnosing an electrical issue in a car. :wink:

That would make the site even better than it is. There is a great group of people here (yes, you too Rooster ;) ) and it would be a shame to allow IT nonsense to hinder the place.

If we all reported on the ads we do or do not see by virtue of ad blockers or anti-virus software, wouldn't that serve to narrow down the possible malicious ads?

Interestingly, I have not had a redirect for 2 days. when I accessed the site today from my old PC, the C G ad in the background is gone and the backgrond is now black.
I am always logged on.

yesterday 10-13-2020 my MalWare Bytes was still reporting the Trojan

Today 14th...all is good with my logon and following my favorite topics and threads

Just happened to me again. As soon as I logged in I got redirected to a fake google page saying I had reached the 5 billionth search.
