Can anyone tell me for sure if the 28 gauge is built on a smaller frame than the 20? I know they were built by Sabatti, but I can’t find out if they were all built on 20 ga. frames or not. Anybody have both? Or know one way or the other??

Getting the criticism out of the way first, the Premier 28-gauge weighs 6 pounds, 12 ounces, a bit on the hefty side. This is partially due to it being built on a 20-gauge action.

Yea, that’s what I pretty much I figured. I figured that if it’d been on a smaller frame, they would have made sure everybody knew it. I ran up on one, but without the other for a reference, wasn’t sure. I think I’ll pass and hold out for something smaller. Maybe a Beretta 686 SP. I’ll know more next spring or summer.

Sure would like to know where he found one as I am searching for one. Ron
