Randy Browning shows no wood versions of the maxus 2 . is that because it was not ready at the time of printing or has it gone 100% polymer camo and black stocks ?

I'm not aware of any printed catalogs. Normally, around SHOT Show time (not an in-person event this year) Browning (and others) have their websites updated. Though historically some things are announced at SHOT, they are not available for purchase until 8 or 9 months later. It is still a bit early at the moment.

Being old school I used the term print when I should have said media release . how ever no wood models are shown . just wondering if they dropped production of the wood version in the maxus ll . this is just my opinion but the maxus ll should have being badged something else like wise with the new A5 . to most people the sequal is never as good as the orginial .

Browning dealers can answer your questions as they have 2021 price sheets and know what they can order. So can Browning, directly.

Glanced at the online catalog and was happy to see the Citori field sporting model. 20 , 28 , and.410 in 30” and 32” barrels. Beautiful gun

I agree .so why would someone buy a wood maxus for an msrp of $1500 ish .when you can buy pretty much the same gun in the Winchester sx4 for around $ 400 less . they don't look that much different . and probably share a lot of the same parts .

Or just buy the Maxus Hunter for about the same price.
