Leather Hand guard for O/U shotgun

I burn my hand on my 687 20 shotgun while shooting.

I hold my index finger forward of the forearm.

Is there such a thing??

Good handguards are made for splinter-ended SxS, bit in your case, I agree that a leather glove like a golf glove will do the job.

I have never seen one to an O/U. I have always just used a golf glove.

I always shoot with a leather glove on my left hand - hunting or clays - I've gotten so used to it that I even use a leather glove when I deer hunt.

Same here except I use 100% deer skin for hunting or light weight batting gloves for target shooting.

Same here as well. I found the "all weather" type of golf gloves very suitable.

I had not thought of such things in ages.

Years ago I bought a leather covered pair of magnets that fits on the bottom barrel and wraps up both sides.
