It can be done but it will take a bit of machining to do so. The bots are different between the two guns and the bolt does not lock up when switched. Work would have to be done on both the barrel extension and the bolt to make things fit. At machinist prices that would get expensive. There are also differences in the forarms which would necessitate new wood as well as some additional work.

10 ga steel is available. I even saw 10 ga slugs available. Prices were not pre-pandemocrat but it is available.
