I have been having an issue with loading high brass shells into my Black Aces semi-auto. It appears that the angle of the shell is too steep to clear the magazine tube, or the elevator doesn't recess far enough into the receiver in order to fit in. It almost seams as if the edge of the brass is catching on something. Any suggestions on what to adjust to make it work?

the height of the bass on the case isn't the problem.
the shell should be held further forward so it can slip back on top of the lifter when it is released from the magazine.
having said that if it is the cases fault, it is because the rim is too narrow.
