I just got a stoeger p3000. I patterned it and it seems low about 30/70. I’d like to pick it up to 50/50 or 60/40. What’s the best way to do this?

Beartooth comb kit should work so you can try different heights

Comb height might do it but it is likely just a symptom of the problem. When you mount the gun you should be looking down your guns line of trajectory which hopefully is near parallel with the centerline of the bore & be in line with the center of impact of the shot charge. Should the POI be low as in this case, raising the rear of the sighting plane, i.e., raising the comb would have the desired effect. The only problem is you have to be sure this works with your mount so you are looking down the adjusted/ corrected sighting plane. The stock adjustments have to be in harmony with your mount, otherwise your POI will be off unless you are aiming. To put it in simpler terms, be sure the changes you make to the stock don't screw up how the gun fits. You may have to make more than one change depending on how the stock fits in the first place. A physical reference may or may not help. If the gun mounts right & points right, that should fix it provided it is consistent.

rrowe563: The easy, quick fix is a strip or two of moleskin on the top of the comb to more your eye up a little. You should have someone check your gun mount to see that you havea clean and consistent gun mount with the new shotgun. Good luck .
