Looking for something to do on 9/7, and according to their website, they're holding an NSCA shoot that day.
Anybody familiar with this place?

Not exactly familiar, but I have heard positive comments about it. Here's a path:
http://www.seawaygunclub.com/
The boys at the modest gun club where I shoot said that when they headed north to Seaway, it was "bigger and nicer." But, it's not "big," on a relative scale.
If you've been to Muskegon, you also know that you are never more than 15 minutes from Lake Michigan, which has some terrific beaches, restaurants, sight-seeing, and some beautiful early-September weather. I think it would be worth checking out.

Seaway is a very nice club.
I have been there many times as I vacation in White Hall a couple times a year. It is about 10 minutes from whitehall/montague area.
The club is very nice and well kept. They have 3 or more trap fields that I know of. 5 skeet fields. They have 5 stand and a full sporting clays course. During the summer, it is almost like having a 5star shooting range to yourself, but the closer you get to hunting season, and when they have events/registered shoots, they fill up pretty well.
Like Augustus said,
Lake Michigan is very close by, and the beaches near Seaway gun club are very nice.
There is a channel from white lake to lake michigan if you like to fish.
Also, there is a river with a Kyack/canoe/raft rental place and you can go down the river and they pick you up like 5 hours down the river.
Other activities aside, the club is nice, Im sure you will have a great time.
