It is not often that a grouse hunter is about to share a great grouse hunting location and a really good Sporting Camp to stay at with the general hunting community!

First off please understand that I have high standards but a restricted budget.
It is easy to list several fantastic Sporting Camps in the state of Maine but not easy to find one that offers that high quality at an affordable price!

This one is a gem! The owners are fantastic people who supply quality built cabins, great meals and services in an area with some unique features. When staying at this remote Sporting Camp you will have access to a vast area exclusive to guests of the camp. The area is behind locked gates with miles of old logging roads and thousands of acres of grouse habitat. You will see moose every day and plenty of grouse.

The Sporting Camp is near the New Hampshire state line and the boarder with Canada.
All the cabins are lake front and have electricity supplied by generator around the clock.
Off the grid yet flush toilets, hot and cold running water and electric 24 hours a day in your cabin! Meals are included (three daily...breakfast selections from a menu, lunch packed to order for your day afield, and dinner includes more menu selections different every night)
Beverage service including wine....wine is at additional cost.

All this deep in a wilderness setting for about $699 a week!!

I have been hunting Maine for about 20 years and have never found so much for this kind of price! Rates quoted were for 2013 so check their website to confirm 2014 rates. They even have a web-cam so you can see conditions.
Reports also tell me fishing at this camp is great too!

Check out: Bosebuck Mountain Camps in Maine and if you go please report back for others to share your impressions.

Happy Hunting!
