Well the wife gave me permission to put a pheasant on the wall so if anyone has any favorites or original ideas please post a picture here or direct me to the right place. Thanks.

I have not used this one personally, but looking at his online gallery I was very impressed by the quality of his mounts. I am sure he would come up with a creative idea for you.

Really great stuff. Also check out his recreations of some of the extinct upland birds & waterfowl out there.

FYI...for a wall mount of a cock pheasant, my vote would go for a flying mount.

Actually in looking at the site I mentioned. I liked this pheasant mount...

Like this one as well...not sure it would work on a wall...and it is 3 pheasants which may exceed the wife limit that was set

Well sodakid, ya still lookin for a bird or did ya make up your mind. You'll be hard pressed to find nicer bird mounts than those by mike c.. Ya know the saying about traveling many miles in the search only to find the best in your own back yard. You might try Lewon in the Randolph area, don't know if he still does birds or not, he's been in pretty high demand over the last 20 yrs.

Just got my first pheasant mounts back. In flight.....They are over my bed. Absolutely beautiful. My daughter could not believe I was having them in my bedroom but when she saw them she changed her mind. Quote" Mom, I cannot believe all of rhe hunting and fishing you are doing now." I have been to Argentina dove hunting, Colorado flyfishing, striper fishing, quail, chukar, pheasant, skeet and sporting clay shoots....I believe you can not have too many guns and rod& reels.....Next is sandhill crane and duck hunting...Guys, find a good shotgun coach and a gun store that caters to the ladies. You will not regret it! My friends are now following suit.....Good luck! Texas Ladies are all for hunting and fishing.
