Since I do a lot of squirrel hunting I figured I would start tanning the hides of squirrel and rabbits and make somethin out of em just for the heck of it. But I only got a basic idea of how all that works....what are the simplest ways to do this? Heard some people say use alum, some eggs (which would be great since I have chickens if you know how) and so forth.....so....any suggestions?

Check into Van Dykes taxidermy supply. They have every thing that you would need at reasonable prices. I have used them for several projects and they also have kits with the instructions to guide you. Good Luck.
