Hello All:
I am looking at a older (80s) gun with a Kolar tube set.
The seller is not sure about the age of the tubes, they are black and look to be in excellent shape visually. Each set has some spare chokes.
Has there been different styles of chokes used?
Anything to watch out for here?
Thanks

Every Kolar tube I have ever owned has a number engraved on it. Find it and call Kolar, they can give you all the info you need.

Thanks for the replies.
Each pair of tubes in each gauge has a few spare chokes so they are definitely interchangeable.
My concern was that perhaps there was early generation or type of choke that was no longer manufactured.
I am looking at these online so I don't have the serial numbers.

....some of the numbers etched on the chokes, are the external diameter. You need that number if you call them and order a choke, so they can be certain it will fit your barrel.
