Hello, after loads of research I ordered my first pair of Muller chokes earlier this week. Yesterday my U2 and U1 showed up and the U1 has a small chip in the bottom of the outside of the choke. I’m not as conscerned about aesthetics as I am long term durability and performance. Would you guys send it back for a new one? I bought these because of their incredible reputation and I have high expectations for them. My picture file is too big, I’ll try to upload a smaller version. Thanks!

Return it. You deserve an un-damaged tube. That's what you paid for.

Did you call Muller or did you just come here?

I sent them an email after I opened it. I hear great things about their customer service, so I’m not questioning if they’ll replace it. I’m wondering if it’s really worth it, or if it will end up looking this way anyway. I know the pic is vital to make that decision.

I'd send it back; they will replace and then you never have to worry about it.

I agree that you should work it out with them and exchange for an undamaged one.

I have shot well over 10K rounds thru my U2 and have no chips or dings in the finish of it. Not sure how it happened but I am sure they will take proper care of it.

I had a UO crack and they didn't question anything. Jim Mueller actually talked with me and asked me to return it for replacement. Great Customer service.
