I’m considering getting Müller chokes to use in my 20 gauge Caesar Guerini Summit Sporting.

I would appreciate comments from anyone who is using Müller chokes in their CG sub-gauge guns with Selecta chokes.

I would also like input on which Müller chokes to use for sporting clays in a 20 gauge CG.

I use (2) U2 chokes for my 20ga CG Magnus, same with my 28ga barrel set. I see no need to use anything else for sporting clays.

Are the Mueller choke better than the CG chokes? And especially in 12 ga?

Kannoncoker,

I also have a 12 gauge CG Summit Sporting which came with Maxis chokes (versus the Selectra chokes that came with my 20 CG Summit Sporting Limited).

The constriction of the Maxis chokes seem to be a little tighter than standard. For example, the constriction of the IC chokes is .12 which the same as the Muller U2.

I generally shoot either IC & IC or IC & LM in my 12 gauge and am very happy with how the Maxis chokes perform.

However, the Selectra chokes in my 20 gauge don’t seem to pattern as well as the Maxis chokes which is why I’m thinking of trying Muller chokes in my 20 gauge.
