Bruce is still doing his thing. He's shooting a good number of NSCA shoots, doing a little teaching near his home in Tennessee and producing instructional videos through his Sunrise Productions company. We stopped doing Shotgun Journal when we couldn't find enough sponsorship to do it. That is sad, because we always got great reviews from viewers. As mentioned above, www.myoutdoortv.com has lots of Shotgun Journal shows. My new show, TNT Outdoor Explosion has some wingshooting on it as well. View previous shows by going to www.pursuitchannel.com, shows, TNT Outdoor Explosion and take your pick from 25 or so episodes. Some are wingshooting, but many are big game. We do a little bit of everything on the new show. Lots easier to find sponsors that way.

That's super. you two made the best host's of any outdoor show in many years. It's truly sad you couldn't continue the great program. Very few true shotgun bird hunting show for those of us who live eat and breath the stuff. I still try and find Shotgun Journal episodes and continue to watch them..even though I have seen them numerous times. Great stuff
Take Care, Chuck

I've got to admit that the early stuff we did in the late 1990s looks pretty raw compared to the last two or three seasons of the show, but there really are some great shows with lots of great shooting from many truly wonderful places. I'll visit with Bruce to see if he has any interest in putting a series of seasons together on DVD. It's something he and his son Richard will have to do, as they have the master copies of all shows stored.

It's a pity Shotgun Journal couldn't continue. Like mentioned above, us bird hunters are finding less and less that appeals to us on the outdoor networks nowadays. A couple years ago, I purchased a couple custom DVDs (of previous Shotgun Journal episodes) from Bruce and he mentioned it was something they didn't normally do. I would absolutely buy the rest if yall offered them.
Thanks

Having all the episodes in one place would be great! I actually talked for quite a while with Bruce a few months ago running down references on a lodge in Bolivia. You guys were my favorite hunting show bar none.
Have you ever hunted in Nicaragua? We are going down there at the end of the month to try and shoot some dove.

We never did any of the Central America countries, but I hear the shooting can be good there. Don't think it will be anything like Argentina, Bolivia or Uruguay, but still good. Thanks for the kind words about Shotgun Journal. I wish we were still doing the show too, but I guess it's not to be.

Hey guys, spoke with Bruce last week about this and he did say that he was redoing the Shotgun Journal website to include lots of shooting videos, articles and episodes of Shotgun Journal. It is currently under construction. I'll post the link to the new site when it's launched.

Had planned on a shoot at my personal hunting lease opening weekend, but we got a lot of rain just when the corn harvest was to take place and the farmer couldn't get in the field to do it. We 're patiently waiting as there are lots of birds in the area. A couple of my friends went to shoots within an hour of my house and both got limits quickly.

You can sign me up to buy the collection if it ever comes out. One thing that could be a low risk endeavor is putting it out on iTunes for a few bucks and episode. Posted using Outdoor Hub Campfire

+1 on purchasing episodes of Shotgun Journal. Really enjoyed :"Dad's Old Gun" and the bantering between you and Bruce while wingshooting. Classic TV. Thanks for the memories Marty.

Can't really say why we haven't put out year by year DVDs. We've got seven or eight years of shows. I'll visit with Bruce on this again.
