Hello,

Question for all you Perazzi experts. I see used Perazzi barrels being sold and traded all the time. what is it that allows used barrels to fit a different receiver?

I know that for Berettas only about 40% of used barrels can be fit to another receiver.

Thanks

This is not true.

They still usually have to be fit to the receiver and iron and maybe the ejectors timed. With both Perazzis and Berettas, I've had about 1 in 4 that actually fit without any work...YMMV.

That was from Coles, maybe that’s just their experience. I sent a set of 28 gauge barrels they said could be made to work for light shooting but nothing long term. I wonder how many people just slap them on without them being properly fit. That may skew the numbers. Just because it shoots doesn’t mean it’s right.
