I bought a new vintage. FT chokes and adjustable comb. Issue is the comb is way high for me. I did some research and it appears that all the newer Peruzzi's are about 1.5 drop at comb. I had my machine shop make a synthetic comb as low as possible, and still patterns high. I have a DT 11 that is about a 2.5 drop and I can adjust it to get the right pattern. Seems like Perazzi is using something other than an average American reference for the newer guns. I had a level 1 instructor shoot and he agreed. Is there any other solution other than a custom stock, and another several thousand on a 12k gun??
all the stock pieces are serial number matched to the gun.

Thanks

Beretta has 2.5" drop at the front of the comb? My DT11 was 1.5"DAC same as my Perazzi HT. Both patterned 60/40 for me. I am 6'3". What is the LOP? That can change things also.

2.5" drop at comb is NOT anywhere close to average...

Agree with Skeet Man. 1.5" is probably very close to average drop at front of the comb and 2.25 at the heel.

You bought the gun new and didn't take advantage of a custom-fitted stock? Typically you have whichever company you are buying it through measure you and send the dimensions to Perazzi who then carves it to your dimensions.

I have looked at EuroChasse's listings of Vintage guns, most are 70/30 and have more trap/pigeon style stocks, both issues should make the guns shoot high.
