I haven't heard much news on the new Tristar line of O/U guns; they're not even on the Tristar website although they're already shipping. You can see them if you download the .PDF of the 2020 catalog.

I'm very leery of buying an over/under of a "budget" brand (I bought a Stoeger/IGA Condor 20ga. years ago that was not very good) but I've been so impressed with my Viper G2 .410 that I'm thinking I might take a chance with Tristar.

I just want an inexpensive .410 for occasional skeet club fun; something that makes it easy to keep my empty hulls. Right now, there are two other guys who shoot .410s. One uses a pump and the other, an autoloader. It's a tiny club and we often shoot on the same squad, making keeping track of hulls a pain.

I'm almost to the point where I'm considering being a guinea pig...

My Yildiz 410 o/u has been 100% for the past 2 years. It came with 5 choke tubes and ejectors. Has 26" barrels. I have shot a lot of doves and skeet with it. I like it a lot!

These trinity models look an awful lot like the ati cavalry and Steven's 555.

Anyone think the same? Any idea if that's correct?

My buddy just bought a Tri-Star .410 2 weeks ago. Loves and cycles .410 factory loads very well.
Reloads not so much. Now my 28 ga g2 Viper loves reloads and cycles them fine. Really flings them too..... the .410 reloads he had to stop shooting

i love my Tristar G2 410 semi-auto. But when it comes o/u's I shoot Yildiz.....410/20/12. Never had a problem with any of them. All the SPZ-ME models have barrel selector/auto ejectors/5 chokes and beautiful wood. 5 year warranty by Briley in Texas. All 4 of these guns function well with with my reloads.
