My hunting partner is determined to obtain either of these two models as soon as he can find one in the flesh to handle, to confirm gun fit and build quality. He's not good with cyber research and is relying on me a lot on this one. (Truth be told, I'd like one myself, but I have other gun priorities that must be fulfilled first!)

I've read up on these extensively and am well aware of owner feedback; as well as several of Randy Wakeman's relevant articles; and reviews by other writers. I know the two guns are almost identical and made by the same company. I just spent quite a bit of time trying to discover the specific differences, but to no avail. I'm not being totally lazy, just thinking maybe somebody knows for sure.

Any thoughts?
