Just got my L4S for clays.

Anyone use this add-on for recoil reduction and/or added wt?

Does it make any real difference (in recoil reduction)

Thanks!

Yes, and so does the forend weight.

Thanx

mddan and 4thdown....did you install just the front weight adapter AND another weight or just the front adapter alone?

Also, is there any difficulty or "tricks" to removing the stock bolt to get to where the Kinetic Recoil adapter goes?

FABARM told me it does not need a gunsmith, but did not give me any details.

Thanks for the info!

Kidney.....I didn't install mine in buttstock....had Briley do it when they put on a KICK-EEZ pad. One the forend, I added one weight unit to the adapter. I picked up a little weight by adding the new pad, now 7 3/4 lbs.

Contact Andrew @ Fabarm USA via email and he will respond probably with email with whatever questions you might have. He's the lead gunsmith, very knowledgeable and approachable.

It is really a no brainer to install the stock weight. Took me all of less than 10 min. Take off the pad (I was replacing the pad anyway with a Kickeeze pad, which preferred) and you will find a hollow hole that you just slide the weight in and use a screwdriver to screw it into the socket down inside.

I also just put on the forearm adapter and one extra weight.

So this weight does not go into the stock bolt hole, but a different hole?

No. It is primarily for balance and cannot reduce recoil more than its weight (150g).

I just figured out how to use this forum.

Kinetik Recoil Reducer

Can I use this in an Old Model Browning Citori 12 and 20 g two-barrel shotgun? Can it be used in any Browning Citori, as I have a 325 that could use a little taming?

Le

I really doubt these will fit a Browning anything. They are made specifically made for Fabarm XLR5 and L4S.
