I have a few DL 266 and DL155 presses and am trying to make them up into different gauges but struggling for one or two parts.
I have pretty much the full set now for 20ga apart from the resize ring....
The 16ga I am struggling a bit more with however. I have the shell plates, wad guide etc but am short a resizing ring and final crimp assembly. I did find one but when it arrived the housing wouldn’t fit the 266 as it was a smaller thread (it was the same thread as the 105 final crimp)
Anyone have some spare parts lurking about that they can help me with?
Or possibly complete kits in any gauge other than 12?
Fair price paid
Regards
Graham

366 dies fit in a 266 and 155. I converted a 266 to 28 ga and Bair 405 to 16 ga using combinations of parts from die sets I found on Ebay and with few exceptions they are the same as on my 366s. Granted, I had to make a die body/tube to fit the sizing ring to the Bair press. It’s more or less a 155. I could probably have got one from Hornady but I have a lathe and was looking for a project anyway. The crimp starters have evolved over the years but the entire assembly for a 366 will fit the 266 and 155. I don’t have 16 ga shell holders, but get along fine with the 12 ga still in the press. A little bit of imagination and field expedience will get them both working well.

The shell holders I have managed to locate both in 20ga and 16ga.
I may try giving hornady a call next week if 8 can’t find some used ones
Thanks for your reply
