Let my PM box get full, got this message

You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available.

Cleaned box, still have message and no new msg (whatever was 'on hold').

Can some Moderator-type look into that?

There is a link in that message above your PM box. Click it and it should release them.

Run your mouse arounnd the border close to the full message and that link should lite up. Then when you click that link it should retrieve the overflow.

See the photo below and you will see a drawn oval on the picture of the page telling you that you have a message waiting.
In that oval is the link that you are looking for.

I've been informed that I should change the title to 'workaround' rather than 'solved'. I've been looking at the template to see where that link color is set. No luck so far.

What if you change the color of the border where it sits? Forgive me if that is an ignorant question, but it was just a thought.

Just so you can see it, I've let my Inbox get over loaded. Here is a pic of what the "masked" link looks like. It's not exactly the same color as the title bar, but it's really close.

You can see it there just to the left of the message telling you your box is full.

Thanks to all of you who responded but is there a way of deleting or removing old messages? I have some that are two years old?

Check the radio box to the right of each message you want to delete. Then scroll to the bottom and click on the arrow next to Mark/Unmark as important. Select Delete Selected Messages then click on go. It will ask you to confirm so, just click Yes.
