Less than the super dooper three and a half inch plastic blasters.

Or about like a Franchi AL48 would have cost $135 when money was worth ten times more.

I guess I was looking at the high grade models.

Truly a great bird gun, for much less than any B gun over and under.

I think so. While it will do other things, I think it`s born for upland, carrying for distances. In 26" it`s a natural for flushing game. I have a 28" with some weight up front to give it a bit more forward bias for pass shooting (dove ).

The first L4S Initial Hunter review was from summer of 2015, some 5-1/2 years ago. At the time, MSRP was $1250, with street price of $1100 or so. In 2015, the tested model, the Initial Hunter, was also an outstandingly good value, coming in at substantially less dollars than the Vinci, the Browning A5, the A400, the Maxus, and so forth. That hasn't changed.

Today, over five years later, MSRP is up by about a hundred dollars, at $1355. There is no debate here, other than to clarify that no one pays $1500 much less $2000 today for a Fabarm L4S Initial Hunter.

I’m thinking about one seriously, found a brand new 26” L4s for $1190.

If I wanted one, I`d jump on it.
