ZE1990, I cant speak for the 694. But I can speak for the f16. I LOVE MINE. I have had it since 2017 and shoot around 12k round a year. Its been nothing but reliable with the exception of a minor hiccup in some Ficcohi shell that it didn't like (two consecutive cases winter of 2018.... no problems since with ficcohi or any other shells). all my communication/support with BlaserUSA has been worth promoting as top notch, I feel if I ever have a problem they will be quick and beyond fair to help, as this as been proven to me thus far. There are hundreds of thousands of good reliable Berettas out there, but the 694 hasn't been out very long only time will tell if its everything that its being promoted as. All guns have their problems, I think its fair to say Beretta's track record for customer support doesn't come close to Blasers, not that its bad but its definitely not as fast or personal. I took a chance on my F16 when it was the "new" gun that was unproven, if you really like the 694, try it.
also.... $5k does seem very high for the F16. I bought mine brand new out the door at $3600. looking at Cove Creek Outfitters it seems they are in the bottom of the $4k price range. Best of luck in your search for a new toy!

Thank you for everyone’s input. The more I looked around and weighed my options, I decided on a K80 Pro-Sporter. More than I wanted to spend, but I felt that It was a good investment.

I bought a slightly used F16 online earlier this year sight unseen when I couldn't find a 694 to handle. I will now say that the F16 is an excellent gun and I shoot it better than any other O/U's I have. Maybe because I like it so much I shoot more? Who knows but the metal, wood and triggers are excellent and I am now thinking of an F3 but will handle it first due to the higher cost. I think I paid $3300 for the F16 from Safari outfitters and it was in perfect condition. Not a scratch or blemish anywhere. Good luck!

In my opinion, you should stick with the A400 and invest the extra money toward shells, targets, and lessons... the O/U will not improve your scores.....

Blaser customer service is better. I have both and am a smaller guy (5'10" 170lbs). I rarely shoot either of my Berettas. I would very strongly consider a CG or Fabarm from a quality perspective. They may be too small for you though. My CG Invictus is the best gun for the money that I have shot. To me there is no reason to move up to a Krieghoff or Perazzi.
