which semiauto is best for competition?

I’ve got a 390, and I’ve owned 3, 391s.... I think my current Cole Pro A400 fits me best and I’m confident I shoot it better...... in my opinion, all Beretta semi-autos are a step above of all other semi-auto offerings."

The Winchester Super X Model One, is the all time best target gun.

For a brand new current production gun, the latest Beretta gas gun.

Anybody who says anything is an " all time best ", or something akin to that, needs to be able to say they`ve tried everything of whatever it is they`re talking about. Otherwise, it`s just opinion usually based on brand loyalty and personal use. JMHO, of course.

Dismantle an A400 and lay it out beside a dismantled L4S and compare the quality of the individual parts. The Fabarm is proofed to a much higher level, and all of the Fabarm chokes are steel rated all the way through extra full. Note that I haven’t stated that one gun is better than the other, and I won’t. Just go through this exercise and draw your own conclusion. Oh, and by the way, if it is important to you, the Fabarm is 100% Italian made.

That is exactly what I did and did draw my own conclusions. However, the market penetration by the "Big B" is going to ensure that there are far more of them seen over other models including FABARM.

Market penetration is what it is. However, that never distracted me from buying a gun that I wanted regardless of how obscure and unavailable it might be.

Goes for me too. You can touch and shoulder Berettas just about anywhere. Always felt that Fabarm guns would be more prevalent in the field and on ranges if people had at least a little easier access. Not to say you can`t get them, obviously, although the virus has apparently made that tougher.
