Too many parts made of a brittle plastic. Check out the extractor, also. Looks like it was cut from a beer can. The plastic feed throat is a trouble spot. Parts are still available but I quit the 1200 and 1400 series decades ago due to their cheap manufacture. Some folks swear by them. Some swear at them.


Thanks for the info. I was able to find NOS plastic feed throat parts for $20 delivered. They should be here in a few days. I ordered them "just in case..." I might get an extractor for the same reason.

I have wondered before,not because I own a 1200, couldn’t someone with a 3D printer make those plastic pieces as well as for other guns that have them. Could be a good little cottage industry.
