Does anyone know if using an eye exercise app on a smartphone can help with sporting clays? I wear strong contact lenses (-4.25) and can use all the help I can get. I do the three shell drill and flashlight drill. They have helped out. I need to train my eyes to zero in the the leading edge of the clay. In case anyone is wondering, I use “eye exerciser” on the iphone. It has basic, swing, spiral and saccade eye exercises.

Anything you can do to improve your vision, or processing what you see will help. David Radulovich uses Senaptec strobe glasses to train his eyes. I'm not sure how that would work with your correction. https://senaptec.com/senaptec-strobe/

From my own experience, I can say that eye exercises are very important and each of us must do them. In general, we do not realize how many muscles in our face need to be trained and how important this is. I, working in this field for several years, have already learned everything related to it and I can even tell you that you have to do daily exercises for every muscle of the face and eyes because it is extremely important. Of course, we must not forget the muscles of the body and the best method is to do yoga retreat Tulum because it helps a lot to relax and find new spiritual horizons.

Phil Kiner has a great new DVD with vision the focus of the video. He proves common shooting errors with a high speed camera all based on vision to response. Also addresses cross dominance in eyes and vision.
The kind of info needed to go from average to elite shooter. This is great stuff.
Thanks Phil........Maltz

Thanks Phil........Maltz Maltz, I have the original and the newer boot camp and didn't see anything other than the exercises on the new one. He proves common shooting errors with a high speed camera all based on vision to response. Also addresses cross dominance in eyes and vision. Unless the above is on something else??

OP: See if you can find a good sports vision guy. Our optometrist is also getting into sports vision in a big way, and our team's scores have validated it. There are many options beyond just an app for your phone. The senaptecs are good and can help, but you need to understand what you're trying to do with them, otherwise it's a waste of money. Simple warm-up exercises are certainly indicated, but you also should think about training that near/far vision and there are other things for it. "Eye Push-ups" can help a bunch. Quiet eye training (saccade improvement) and pursuit training are good starting points. But at 4.25 you probably need professional assistance to be able to optimize your game.

So, I am confused: Is the new Kiner "eye" DVD different than the first or basically the same?

Randy I have both and only difference I've found is the backgrounds are different, On the new one I got the download version so the new DVD may have the things Maltz mentioned.

Your eyes are not that bad, I wear -4.00 and have no problem seeing targets.
