For the third year in a row they have raised the price of clay targets 20%. They have also raised the price of pallets, shipping, and handling. The wholesale cost of AAs went up $7.00 a flat as of 1-1-2021 and they still are not shipping much, if any. It is going to cost a lot more to shoot this year than before, not to even mention the cost of ammo that will also increase.

That will be the trend if we keep printing money by the trillions.

From an identically titled thread in the Sporting Clays section... White Flyer wrote: Dear Valued Customers, White Flyer announced a price increase on certain products December 22, 2020. The price increase was not 20%. On average products increased about 5%. It’s important to note that standard orange top, orange dome and a few other pitch targets did not increase at all. White Flyer freight increased .15 per mile and pallets did not increase. Please contact your distributor for a price quote on your next shipment. Please feel free to contact your regional White Flyer Sales Manager if you have any further questions. On behalf of the White Flyer Team, we wish you and your families a healthy New Year! moocher, that's BS. Just called Lawry and their targets went up a couple of pennies per box. So I can't see white fliers going up 20%.

I stand corrected. I was wrong. The increase was not 20%. It was much less even with the increase in transportation costs added in.
I was correct about the cost of AA shells going up.

I was correct about the cost of AA shells going up. Yes you were......ammo increases are real, and significant.

And if the Demorats bill HR 5717 gets passed there will be a 30% tax on all guns, a 50% tax on all ammo and will require a federal license to purchase both. Also it says you would need this license to own or handle any guns, even the ones you already own. And you know down the line if you have this license they'll have the right to come in and inspect how you store your guns and ammo. Do it wrong, by by guns.

When Federal comes out and says it will take three YEARS for things to go back to January 2020 levels, then it's a bad situation - doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

HR 5717 was introduced in Jan. of 2020 and has had no action whatsoever since March of 2020. It hasn't even been taken up for discussion by the Committee it has been assigned to. There isn't even a corresponding companion Senate bill in existence. It has less than zero chance of ever becoming law.
All HR 5717 is good for is to get every one excited and raise money for the NRA.
