I have a gun my 81 year old Dad gave me. I am 61 and used this gun my first year of pheasant and quail hunting in Kansas at the age of 13.

The gun is marked American Fire Arms Co., which based on my research was actually made by Crescent. It has a number stamped on the metal of the trigger guard behind the trigger. The number, 545541, looks a little crude but I'm assuming it's the serial number. The gun is a single shot 410.

Any help in identifying year of manufacture would be appreciated. Not looking to sell or anything just interested in the history of the gun.
