I’ve got a Pedro Gorosabel Singlepoint sidelock 12ga. English grip w/ 28 inch barrels. Choked IC/Mod, double triggers. I bought it rather inexpensively years ago and have always wondered what it’s value is. I can post pics if needed.

Post some pics showing the condition of the gun. Does it have ejectors or extractors? Does a model name or number appear on the gun? Importer's name?

IIRC, prior to its acquisition by Beretta, Gunmark in the UK was a major agent/distributor for Gorosabel. One of their old catalogues may list your model and help establish value.

The only name is Singlepoint Gorosabel on the right barrel just in front of the breach. The gun has extractors. Working on pics now.

IIRC, most were ejector guns, but there's a few sites that have a non-ejector F/S that's in condition comparable to your gun for $5K:

That dollar amount, however, is not a value - it's what the seller would like to get.

The true value is how much somebody's willing to pay for one, today.

What is the mark on the barrel flats forward of the 12/70, maker's mark and s/n?

Interesting that there's no importer's name and city stamped on the barrels or frame. Its possible that it may be a personal import by the original owner who purchased it in Spain.
Your Gorosabel appears to tick the boxes for a well made, mid-range sidelock non-ejector with disc set strikers and hidden 3rd fastener.

FWIW, the 1988 edition of the Gun Digest listed the Blackpoint as Gorosabel's top of the line model priced at $1,600.-. Next in line was the Silverpoint @ $1,200.-. Be aware that while many Basque gunmakers were capable of building top quality doubles, they also built guns to meet an importer/distributor's price point. IDK if the Blackpoint was Gorosabel's best. but, it appears to be the highest grade that the importer believed the USA market would buy. In 1988, the Silverpoint would have been priced in the same range as an AyA Model 117 which was the next to lowest priced AyA sidelock then sold Stateside.

While the condition appears to be very good, I would expect the current value to be a bit less than that of an AyA 117 in like condition due mainly to lack of brand recognition. As always, check the online auctions for current prices being PAID for the same make and model in like condition.
