I have an American Gun Co. 410 shotgun #3013. I was wandering when it was made. This gun came from my father who got it from his father.

.
“American Gun Company” was one of the names used by Crescent Arms of Norwich, Conn., on it's trade brand-name guns (aka: store branded) - which were produced for many different retailers under many names from 1888 to 1931.
They were produced in quantity as an "economy" gun at the lowest prices available.
I would be leery of firing it with modern ammo before a qualified SxS gunsmith (not some parts changer) measures the chamber length (besides checking the frame/lockup, etc).
Many guns made at that time had chambers shorter than the current ammo.
