Just wanted to let you A5 guys know that there's an A5 22" barrel available at Arts Gun & Sports. I assume its factory original it has invector chokes and vent rib.

I know this isn't the for sale forum but you don't see many of these things around.

Actually its not but I am looking at an Aeronca right now. C3=3rd gen Corvette ( of which I unfortunately no longer have). You know anything about Aeroncas? Found a low time one out of annual and sitting in storage. Might go look at it next week.

A little. I checked out in a Champ a long time ago. And I've owned a Champion Citabria since 1988. The Citabria is basically a beefed up Champ with a bigger engine. What kind of Aeronca are you looking at? I hope it isn't really a C3.

Not sure exactly what it is,other than a Champ. It's in a hangar that I'm going to look at later this week . Guy wants to sell it as a package deal. Low time engine, about 500 hrs. He's under $20 right now but I have no idea what kind of shape it's in or what model it is. Really wasn't looking for a Champ, just a hangar. I've found 2 hangars, one 60'x40' all metal insulated with sliders and about 4 years old. The other 42x36' all metal with sliders but much older. Any idea what these hangars might cost to build?

Not a clue. But I'm guessing that you could build a new one for what it would cost to tear down, haul, and rebuild an old one.

What are you going to put in it? 60 x 40 is big.

Mooneys are cool. But you could have a lot of fun in that Champ on 4 gal./hr.
