Since this thread started I came across two once fired Rem nitro 27s that were punctured by my CX when it was pretty new.

I have a 725 with about 30k rounds through it. Hope I'm not jinxing myself, but never had an issue with the gun, including firing pins, still original to the gun.
Mostly shoot Super targets, but have shot just about every manufacturer through it one time or another, Federal, Rio, Fiocchi, Remington, Estate, etc.
