I currently own a 725 HR Adj comb that's a sporter gun, I have the comb up as far as I can and barely get 50/50 pattern? question is what's a 725 trap stock worth and where to find one? and it should interchange correct? nor sell this gun and buy a true trap gun?

Please indulge me for my first question: you say you have the adjustable comb positioned at its upper limit. Where does that place your eye (i.e., how high is your eye above the rib's surface)? Dead flat along the rib's surface? Just a little above? A lot above?

I see a slight bit of rib (i would say just above)between the center bead and front bead,, When I put my chin/cheek on the stock its my natural position, Its the same way I mount my Caesar Guerini Summit Trap with the comb in the fully retracted position, and with the front of that high rib that is adjustable up as high as it goes and I shoot a 70/30 pattern with that.
Please indulge me with any other questions you have I will do my best to answer.
Although my original question is what's Browning trap stock cost ball park if I could find one? that was my original question

Have you considered getting some taller posts put on your current gun? Some hardware offers taller ones than the normal height.

I was going to make some, but it looks so weird with the comb up now if I made longer post it probably would improve my POI higher but be even more odd looking than it is now, I thought if I could purchase a TRAP butt stock and install it it should have less drop at toe and heel and should have a Higher POI. the reason I was asking price and best place to buy one, would love to buy a takeoff that someone put one of those mechanical(PFS) or similar, the other thing is I could purchase a PFS, did not want to spend that much, and i really hate the look of a metal rod stock.

Doesn't look like Browning has updated their price list in quite some time, this is the closest option, from 2013:

B133800046 STOCK, SPORTING, ADJUSTABLE COMB 580.00

You'd have to call Browning directly and ask. I'd be amazed if you could get it done for less than $1k when all is said and done including having the stock fit to your action (it will NOT be drop-in) plus shipping back and forth, probably more realistically $1200+ And no guarantee it would match your forend.

Citori Trap stock from Midwest (not interchangeable, but may give you an idea on $) would be $930.

Not a MC but it is a 725 Trap Straight AC.
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Browning-725-t ... 4194135364

Midwest Gun Works charges $110 an hour to fit it.
Call and get an estimate of total time .
You might be able to change out for less than $600 and
you could recoup even more by selling your current stock.
So I just have to ask.
Your signature says you have a CG Trap Combo.
Why mess with your 725 stock?

Well the CG summit is new about 4 weeks old, I Bought the Browning about 16 months ago, was the most money I ever bought a gun for.(until the CG combo) I do love my Browning and shot pretty well with it. Love my CG and shoot better with it but it is fully adjustable to so I can get a 70/30 pattern too.
But when I purchased my Browning I really had no idea between a Trap gun and a Sporting gun, well now that I have become completely addicted to this sport at age 60, I would love to make my browning a little bit better of a trap gun. ? I could sell it and Buy a Browning Trap? But I have never sold a gun in my life that I have purchased. Just a mental thing. so i will try. And call it a back up gun for my CG. I Have a son still in college and likes to shoot when hes home, my older daughter shows no real interest in shooting, So maybe when I pass away Im thinking my son wont have to buy any guns for a bit if he gets the bug like me? He should be set for trap/ sporting clays, 3 gun, and bullseye shooting. Hoping he will have memories throughout his life I have got from shooting all aspects.
