I have a friend that is selling a Belgium A5, its clearly a shooter. Vent rib 28 inch barrel, 3 inch serial number is 70V7XXXX. Wanted to know what a fair price range might be? And I know it's condition dependent. Any assistance would be appreciated. Gun broker doesn’t have many and none have bids. Thanks

I bought one last summer. 1970s gun, Vent rib, full choke in reasonable shape with a replaced forearm for $600. I don't know if that helps or not. It was worth that much to me for a shooter.

$800-900 is about right for 80/90% according to The Blue Book for Belgian guns imported with vent rib. Some people put a premium on these guns. The Miroku (Japanese) guns are worth much less.

What’s the point of owning a Magnum Twelve if you can’t hunt with it?

Like I said above. Some people and the Blue Book put a premium on the guns made in Belgium. The Japanese gun is about $100 less value in good condition in the book. The gun would make a good turkey gun or deer gun with buckshot.
