Too bad my eyes aren’t stacked like these barrels.
I’d be on it like a duck on a June bug.

Nice, but I feel they picked a poor background to photograph on.

The person who sells in the classifieds here with the white background and clear supports does the best job I’ve seen.

Yeah, that guy's great! . . .

ETA, if you're talking about me, it's not a white background. It's actually a light grey. It can appear anywhere from white to grey, depending on how much light you put on it.

Don't forget fellers, this is a 20 gauge Pigeon grade. Those don't come along all that often. Yes it's a FKST, 26-1/2 in barrels, and a butt pad, but that is still an extremely good price.
My 1931 26-1/2 incher handles like a sweetheart.

I think it's funny as hell. The last image shows a heap of views and 21 potential buyers watching the auction. With something like 2 days to go the seller offered a Cabela's gift card if someone would start the bidding. Have you ever seen that before? Compared to other pigeon grade superposed the price looked good. How do these auctions work? What are they waiting for?

That's a new one on me, would have made more sense to just lower the starting bid for $50.

Generally it doesn't make much sense to bid until the auction is near close, esp if you are watching multiple auctions and only want to buy one.

I don't mind the flat knob, the short tang or the recoil pad but, for me, the 26½" barrels are a deal breaker. That said, for someone who doesn't mind them, the gun is very nice and available at a great price. Good luck with the auction, 2lo.

I spoke with a Grouse man this morning.
He told me if the barrels were any longer it would be a "deal breaker". {hs#

Sorry about the dim photos. It really is a beautiful gun with very nice finishes.
I pointed out the 2 areas that I felt were excessive. She has been hunted and with that in mind,
carries herself with all of the beauty, grace and dignity of a Superposed.

Enough folks seem interested in this gun, it should bring a fair price.

Congrats on the sale, hope the new caretaker enjoys the heck out of it.
