I am confused on the recoil. On Browning site, they talk about the inflex Technology, but I see all these Cynergys' without that recoil pad. What is the deal with this? I am looking at a 20 gauge cxs, but pad is different.

The gun you linked has an Inflex pad, as does the 725 Field, for example: https://www.browning.com/products/firea ... rrent.html .

The earlier Cynergy models had the "wacky walker" pad that was too much, visually, for some. My Cynergy 12 gauge has it, but most now have the newer style, as does the A5.

https://www.midwestgunworks.com/page/mg ... bst81001aa

"Description: Browning Citori 725 / "New" A5 Inflex 2 Recoil Pad, Large, 1". This black rubber recoil pad features a stamped Inflex Technology emblem and is 1" thick. The pad will fit Browning "New" A5 12 Gauge shotguns. This is a factory original part."
