I let my PM box get full, and I got this message. :(

You have 1 private message currently on hold because of full folder.
Release all on-hold messages… they will be re-sorted into the appropriate folder if enough space is made available.

So you cleaned your inbox and the rest of your folders including the "Sent folder", and you still get the same message? So you want to know how to fix it, right?
FACT: Once your PM's exceed a preset number, they are sent to an overflow box and will never come out automatically, regardless of how clean your inbox is. You must manually retrieve those messages!

Here is a procedure that will allow you to get those messages, that are in overflow because you did not check your messages often enough!

At the page that tells you that you have a message on hold, there is a hidden link. I have a image below that shows you where that link is hidden. Put your curser in that area and that link will light up in a very slightly different color. Click that link and your messages should be retrieved for you, but only if you have made room.

See the photo below and you will see a drawn oval on the picture of the page telling you that you have a message waiting.
In that oval is the link that you are looking for.

Original posting of Info was found here but nobody ever looked there! And yet still people cannot seem to find this topic with it right here in every section. ... 8&t=235825

So, you read this and still don't know how to clean your PM box to make room?
Here ya go, do what I have written below.
How to delete messages in the PM box.
At the top of the page is a link for private messages. It tells you how many new messages that you have. If you click that link, it will take you to the private messaging area. There you will see, inbox, outbox, sent messages and whatever other categories there are. If there are new messages in the inbox they will be indicated in parenthesis. But you should open each of those boxes to see what is inside.
There you will see a list of everything in the box that you just opened. On the far right of that list you will see a column identified as Mark there will be a checkbox by each message. click each box for the messages that you want to delete. There is also a Mark All button at the bottom of the column. Right above that is a box labeled Mark/Unmark as important, if you click that box another option becomes visible, Delete Marked. If you click that option, and then hit GO all the marked messages will be deleted.
Do this for each of the folders that has stuff you don't want to keep or you will soon run out of space in your PM box which leads to another issue that you will be back to ask about. Or is this just the first part of your problem because of what I just mentioned?
