Hello All, on January 21 I picked up My V3 at My ffl. didn't put it together just looked it over. the next morning I got up sat down with a cup of coffee. got online and registered the warranty with Remington. put the gun together looked it over, and the barrel didn't look right. the middle and front bead were not perfectly centered over the receiver. the vent rib wasn't on straight.
I had My Wife look at it and She confirmed what I saw. I called Remington and explained what I found. The Agent told Me to box it up and UPS will come the next day with a shipping tag.
Yesterday the V3 was back with a new barrel. less than two weeks total. I took it out back and ran 15 assorted rounds thru it . shoots Great. I called Remington and thanked them for the fast turnaround. I wish it wouldn't have happened but they made it right. I'm a Happy old Geezer.

When purchasing a new gun, it is hard to overstate the value of a solid warranty and great customer service, of which your story is a testament to.

It’s been apparent for a while now that Remington has made a commitment to excellence in customer service. IMO this has been evidenced by their approach to the gas blowback issue experienced by some owners of synthetic V3s . Any number of posts here on SW have attested to this.
