As I just purchased a Schwab release , it has a unset feature , how does that work ?
I'm release wise but don't know much about Schwab releases !

Thanks for your time

Most 1100 release triggers with an unset function work like an action release on a Remington 870. If you’ve pulled the trigger and don’t want the shotgun to go off when releasing it, keeping the gun pointed in a safe direction, you need to reach back with your left hand (if you are a right handed shooter) and slide the unset lever up. You would then be able to release the trigger safely. At least that’s how mine work. Test yours this way unloaded.

There's a little tab on the left side with a serrated edge. Just push up on that tab to unset the trigger.

Seeing that you have owned one I was hoping you would reply !
Thanks for your time and experience......!

I do shoot (at times) a Old Wingmaster with a release and I'm very familiar with its
operation but , I wasn't sure the Schwab with the "reset feature" was the same !

Thanks again
