I have had this shotgun for a while and no problems, but the other day when I went to shoot it all that happened was a click sound like when you try to fire with the safety on (the safety was off though). I took the shell out and put another one in and the same thing happened. Any tips or tricks on how to fix this would be appreciated.

Thank you

Is the bolt fully in battery ? Is the firing pin or firing pin spring broken ?

Are you seeing dents in the primer on the shells you’ve tried?

Is it clean? I mean really clean with everything stripped down. That’s the first place I look with a malfunctioning shotgun.

Most likely a broken firing pin spring. You need to remove it from the bolt to check, when it breaks it will coil into itself so if you look at it it may look just fine but actually be broken.

Also incorrect orientation of the gas ring and piston can cause this.

Did you recently clean it ? I agree with Bobcat -- I had a similar experience
